How does it feel to have a healthy, grounded Sense of Self? A healthy, grounded Sense of Self is never egotistical. It feels consistent and kind. When rooted in a healthy Sense of Self,

I know I am no more important than anyone else. I also know, with equal conviction, that I am no less important than anyone else. I feel intimately connected to myself, and to the world around me. My heart feels open, free, and sovereign. I retain my independence. I possess faith in my own convictions, and stand my ground in the face of fear - even when afraid. I am also not afraid to change, to learn, to grow. I am curious and creative; I try out new things. I remain calm in the midst of crises; I retain mental clarity in the thick of chaos. I am compassionate towards myself and others, because I know how hard life is. Kindness is a natural instinct; it feels alive in me. No-one has it easy, and we are all in this thing called Life, together. When I touch your life with kindness, I feel connected; I know I belong. I advocate for love, not fear. In a world saturated with fear, every act of kindness grounded in a healthy Sense of Self heals the brokenness in our world.
