"There is a crack in everything; that is how the light gets in" ~ Leonard Cohen

Control is an illusion. You can but respond to life, as life flows on. Become one with the flow, and you will find your destination. You cannot fight the river. Observe, watch yourself, as if observing another. You will witness yourself in action. In this way you will come to know and see and recognise who you are. And whatever you come to know and see and recognise, embrace it. If you argue with reality, you will lose - every time. Radical acceptance means embracing what is; right now. Say yes to the reality of what is happening. Once you see clearly what is: decide, then take action. You might object that effective action can only be taken outside of the parameters of fear. But outside of fear's perimeter, lies freedom - so keep walking on in spite of the fear. Step over that red, flashing line into the expansive Unknown. For that, too, has always existed there for you - infinite and eternal - beyond the constricted horizon of trauma. Some accept the invitation to grow; too many pull back in fear. Trauma has petrified so many of us into fossilized stone. Dissolve the walls around your heart; allow her to breathe, to beat freely now. Take time to find your own, authentic rhythm. A space will be held for you as you learn to breathe, and to dance.
